Tequila is a quite famous town due to the world known beverage Tequila. It receives a lot of tourists daily (nationals and foreigners). But most of the visitors do not spend the night in Tequila so the local hotel business is facing problems. Thanks to a grant from NA-ROAD we run an Astrotourism workshop for girls and women. Now they are going to lead the stargazing experiences. Local hotels are keen since this activity will encourage tourists to stay overnight in Tequila.
