Development of Astrotourism in Sabu Island

Sabu Island, Indonesia

Sabu Island has the highest fraction of clear sky among other places in Indonesia.  Its sky is still dark, with many unique geological features, unique culture and beautiful beaches in Sabu Island. It has the potential to become a geopark and dark sky park. Therefore we will make some effort to introduce astrotourism to local people there in 2022.
